Dear Janet, Charles & Peter,

We are praying for you—especially today. You dear ones, we grieve with you as you remember your precious son and brother.

I was thanking God that Jeff is completely healed, restored, and comforted. God also offers peace to those who are far and those who are near. What a promise. It seems like Jeff alternated between being far and near, just as we all do. But God is higher than we are. He intercedes. Is. 26:12 says that He will establish peace for us since He has also performed for us all our works. His ways are not our ways. They are infinitely superior and merciful. I’m praying that God’s faithfulness and strength will comfort you as you mourn this greatest loss.
